Over the years of Night Ops we have seen various displays of great character. We have seen patrol members get injured and the teams presses on, we have seen the same situation where the patrol takes care of the inured member and gets them to the med tent before pressing on. How do you continue the mission and render aid to an injured patrol member?
We have seen patrols point people in the wrong direction causing them to get lost. Some may argue this is counter intelligence, some may say that is poor sportsmanship.
Does your patrol help and encourage younger members or do you fight or just leave all the work to the older more experienced members?
In the end you will have to ask yourself at some point, what is more important, winning or character? Sometimes we can’t have both.
